Turning Your Slice into a Draw

A slice is an errant shot that curves drastically away from its intended target. For right-handed players, a slice curves from left to right, and for left-handers, from right to left. It occurs when the clubface strikes the ball from a path outside the ball to inside the ball. This imparts sidespin, causing the ball to curve (or slice) through the air.

The cause of your slice can vary. It could be rooted in your grip, set-up, takeaway, or the path of your downswing. However, certain drills are designed to fix your slice.

Jason Fiore suggests a drill to help correct your slice. Watch this video and learn how to gain better control of your shots.
